Let's see, you did 203.4 in the mile. mylftft did what? 202mph?

Jesse Combs set a land speed record for women with a measured average of 392.15mph. (I don't know if that link is going to work right...)

If I could get her registered on here on my team, I'd only need to go a little over 10mph to beat y'all

Shhh, a guy can dream, can't he?

That's awesome! BUT! Like Robert said she didn't do it in a mile, night & day different type of racing, I learned that getting traction is a huge obstacle in the standing mile, all that horsepower is not easy to get to the ground in such a short distance, never thought I'd call a mile short distance but compared to Bonneville the Mile is a short sprint. Like Robert said, my car is not going anywhere near salt either, don't want a rust bucket, our cars are way to pretty for salt.

Robert! Did you see this? Whats up with my speed? The fastest slip I have says 201.9. Then this comes through my e-mail & it says 204. What's going on?

The challenge did not say fastest combined standing mile speed

And so long as the speeds are recorded and verified, does it matter at which venue the speed is recorded?

they goof occasionally... A friend of mine that has never raced there has a 231 pass from several years ago... We laugh about that one, unless someone with the same name and car was there... And he is a racer but not at the mile...

yes, you can dream... And if we are comparing oranges to oranges... Then yes, most any venue is fine, but it has to be a standing start and the speed is recorded at one mile... From the start in one direction going away from the start line the first time... One Continuous pass ... And I know you'll pick this apart somehow... Damn engineers...

Just got off the phone with Kevin@AGP turbo. Looks like there is gonna be some changes happening from my end, turbos, converter & gearing. Screw it its a racecar right? Andy is on vacation this week gotta run through my remote tuning possibilities before I pull the trigger on anything.
