That's for use at WOT. You can also use 2 CC one there and the other on the dirty side.

There are 2 places oil can get to the intake. One is the dirty side from Valley to the manifold, the other is from the clean side back to the intake neck or air cleaner, you can install a CC in both of those places. The one that goes to air cleaner or neck only will push oil if at WOT.

This thread shows an Elite separator, which looks basically the same, installed with a RotoFab intake:

I have a CAI intake and have an RX separator on the way. I actually think it'll be easier to install since you can replace the entire tube instead of splicing in a section to snap into the OEM box.

Well, on the Z/28 Skylane shows, he is using a full catch can instead of a separator because he's planning on operating at WOT much more frequently than a street car.

The separator is an easy add on before, during or after anything else you do. It really only makes sense after a dirty side catch can because it only catches 2-5% of the clean side. It is easier to connect to a CAI because every one I've seen has a fresh air port on the tube that connects to the throttle body. This is the easiest possible DIY.

For guys with the RX separator, is yours 1 or 2 pieces? Just got mine today, t looks like there's an insert that threads into the valve cover and the actual separator is just press fit into that insert being held in place by 2 o-rings. Tried calling to see if thus is right or not but they must be closed for the day. Online installation instructions weren't any help either :(
