Recommendation for Clear Bra and Tint - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I'd like to have this done at the same place if the business is excellent at both, if not then shoot me some recommendations for either/or. I'm in Highlands County and while there is a guy I trust to do the tinting (he uses Lumar and has redone one car for me and some truck front windows) he does not do clear bras. I am willing to travel to anywhere on the west coast (Naples to Tampa), Lakeland, or Orlando areas to get the job done right. I'd even entertain the thought of going to the east coast (West Palm area). So give me some first hand recommendations (what you had done, business name, location, brand tint/clear bra). Thanks in advance...

Kauffs in North Palm Beach has the best guy in the state when it comes to tint and bras and wraps. Give them a call and ask for Chris. He is so good at it he has a two week waiting list.

Tint king in west palm is killer plus he owns a 7 Second 4th Gen f body. Ask for Steve.

Go to Ryan at Autopaintguard in Tampa. He does exceptional work. He did tint and clear bra on my 2010 SS. When he put the bra on the front groundfx they looked like they had a clear coat on them so I had him cover all of the groundfx. They looked great. Everyone thought they were painted. I need to bring him up to Indy to do my ZL1.

Ryan @ autopaintguard did my clear bra, he does awesome work and is very detailed.
He also has a guy in his shop that does window tint, he did a great job on mine but I never see it cause the top and windows are always down

Finally got the paint protection film and tint done after a good deal of time in communicating with various installers, deciding on an installer, scheduling, vacations, etc. Ryan and Auto Paint Guard in Tampa did a great job on the tint and clear bra. Got the Suntek CXP tint and Solar Gard Clearshield paint protection film, both at his recommendation. The paint protection covers the entire front bumper (upper/lower basically the entire plastic area) as well as the front lights and mirrors. That was Saturday and so far I'm happy

with the results.

The only downside to Saturday was picking up to pieces of metal in my right rear tire somewhere during the trip

. I have some questions about that which I'll post in the tires/wheels section of the forum.

I am currently shopping for full-frontal clear bra and tint as well. Quoted $650 - wondering how much you paid for yours if you do not mind sharing?

Not to hijack the thread, but does anyone have recommendations for window tint in Jacksonville? Seems like there's so many "little" businesses I can't tell good ones from bad. I'm actually wanting "legal" tint and want the rear window fully covered, not a cut-out around the third brake light.
