Flowmaster AT Cat-Back System

Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-Back System for Ground Effects for V8 - stock #3817487. Purchased 2 months ago, was only installed on vehicle for a little over 1 month. Approximately 500 miles on system. Like new. System will work on both automatic or manual transmission. Decided to go with something different.

More info - www.flowmastermufflers.com

Please send PM if interested to myself or husband M3NTA7.

I know someone who has a set of Flowmaster AT Axle-Back that will fit a V8.

All you'd have to do then, is just get an X-pipe.

Here's a pic of the ones I have for sale (Only one side in the pic for better detail.) Ladybumblebee is now Misty. Can't speak for her, but I seem to remember her issue was drone. This set has J-pipes to compensate and cancel drone. Geekfreekscotty can tell you more about them...

My husband had the Flowmaster catback on his SS. No resonator, just x-pipes straight back to the mufflers. If you use paddle shifters, drone is somewhat tolerable but was still was too loud for me. Without paddle shifters it sounds like hell. With that said, the exhaust tone on the outside sounds fantastic. People with manual transmissions have told me they do not have this drone problem with theirs and some people with automatics stated that the drone is not that bad, so I guess it just depends on how sensitive your hearing is. Hope that helps.

We switched to the Solo catback. Sounds great and a lot quieter inside. We both love it and have gotten lots of compliments from people how great it sounds.
