MRT V1 drone vs V2?

I've heard the V2 inside and there is next to no drone. How bad is the V1?

Been wondering the same thing..I've watched all the videos but it's never the same in person. I'm looking to get one or the other and I prefer the sound of the v1 but afraid of how bad the drone on it is..since u have heard it in person do u like the sound of the v2?

for drone you have 2 options. Magnaflow resonated x-pipe which will kill the drone but you will also lose a little volume. other choice is j-pipes.

i went with resonated x-pipe and muffler delete. sounds amazing, has no drone and was cheaper then the MRT systems.

Happiness with either MRT V1 or V2 is only a little pipe away.

The V2 is one of the best exhaust notes I've ever heard both in the car and outside.

I have the V2 and there is a little hwy drone, but nothing that is earshattering, or that the music can't cover up. The V1 is a bit louder, a bit high pitched, and will give you more drone. The V1 drone can be drowned out, but it is more noticeable than the V2

The V2 is a deep growl that doesn't "open up" till about 2.5-3.5 rpm
The V1 is a little more loud and in your face and will "open up" at around 2-3 rpm

If loudness is what you want, look at it this way:
You'll set off like 5-6 car alarms going through a parking garage with the V2, and like 10-12 with the V1

I'll recommend MRT V2 + magnaflow resonated x-pipes + stock resonator delete. The resonated x pipe will reduce volume/rasp/drone but with the stock resonator delete it'll raise the volume again but without the drone! I love it!
