Question about super chargers

Looking to get 550-600HP... I'm not looking to go to competitions or race much at all. I just want to beef it up a little more and get some more raw power... what is the best way to go about this... I don't know much about superchargers or brands

LS3 or L99? Others can tell you better, but for your goal probably maggie or e-force. That being said, I wouldn't take anything for my Kenne Bell

Leave everything on the car stock. Bolt on a whipple and use their tune. You should be close to the lower end of your number and still have the whipple powertrain warranty. Idk what the whipple "actually" makes on a 100% stock car so one of those boys will need to tell you exactly.

All I have is a cat back and a cai with my whipple numbers are in my sig every thing else is stock I even have my stock cats. I would highly recommend getting a dyno tune the tune that comes with the kit is not very good.

I would stay away from the E-Force and Kenne Bell. Do a search and you can see all the problems. Total nightmares. The Magnuson is the best way to go. I would go with a TVS 2300, blower cam, long tubes and a custom dyno tune. You will be very happy with the numbers.

I have the LS#... so whipple seems to be the popular suggestion. I'll start by reading up on that

I made 544rwhp 520rwtq on 100 octane and 100% bone stock with the whipple using whipple's tune. After a dyno tune I made 570rwhp and 517rwtq on 91 octane and on 100 octane I made 585rwhp and 537rwtq. I would not take the car into high rpm's with the whipple tune, even on 100 octane my car would ping. Get the whipple kit and a custom dyno tune and you will love it.

I am basically a stock LS3 with axle back magna flow exhaust, K&N CAI, the MagnaCharger (installed it myself), with the MTI Tune, I make 542 rwhp and 513 rwtq (I think the correct numbers are in my sig), the car is a daily driver gets about 25-26 mph, is absolutely fun to drive, and is competitive at the strip (although people showing up on street tires is few and far between). When I was investigating what to go with and knowing what that I was going to do it myself, "Gotthat02fire" told me in his first post to me, it's all about the tune (he is right), and the MagnaCharger appeared and I believe is the easiest install. Good luck so many good choices, I liked the Kenne Bell, the E-Force, Whipple, etc.

What issues have you seen or heard concerning the E-force? I have one and love it. From what i can see, all the people on here who have one as well love it.

The only people that had any trouble with an E-force were those that decided to "pulley down" without the required supporting mods. Lean is mean. If you want to mod the E-force you need more fuel and a safe tune. Better bottom end would not be a bad idea while you were at it. The E-force makes a LOT of cylinder pressure at WOT and low RPM. Nothing else comes close to it.

The stock pulley is enough for the stock bottom end and fuel delivery system but if you push it higher in boost without more fuel than the stock fuel system will deliver, you WILL be hurting some parts! Edelbrock will also tell you that if you ask. It's also in the directions that come with the blower.

I LOVE mine.

-Mark.

Do a procharger and leave all the roots blowers behind.. more potential at the end of the day to go bigger and make more power in the end.
