This is completely ridiculous, you'd think they'd be ready for stuff like this. I let my buddy who has an M3 drive my Camaro, it surprised him how difficult it was. He also said that the clutch is "soft" compared to anything he's ever driven. I learned on a Celica and its my first standard car so I really have little to compare with.

I started having issues at 13k mikes...slight grind and extremely rough gear engage when switching even with clutch to floor. Got in twice and clutch was stuck to the floor and j had to pull it up to fix it...took it to the shop last mo day and it's still there...

Supposedly the issue is under review by gna board of engineers as a possible recall/tsb issue..several bolts worked loose and compromised another part..

^This.

My car has been in the shop for 23 days now. GM can not come up with another clutch kit for my car.

Honestly, I'm loosing faith in GM and the car.

Dont be angry at just GM, they just picked the part. You should be angry at Aisin for making a crappy transmission.

I'm glad this new replacement one works like a champ.
Could feel it day picked her up also. Thought it could me since i hadn't driven a manual since mid "90's". Only happened a few times though until I went to C5fest with about 3000 mi. on odo. By the end of trip I could not even get into 2nd gear. Drive almost 300 miles home. That monday morning I took her back to dealership. All I told them was it wouldn't go into 2nd gear. They took about a week to replace with new tranny. I have a little over 7000 on odo now and have been really pleased.

At 30 days out of service you can call it a lemon here.

What does Aisin have to do with my pressure plate coming loose? Not a damn thing.

Same here, Service Dept. is well aware too.

Now here is some good shit. They can't send my clutch out due to water in the streets because of the Hurricane. What Hurricane? No one knows...

Hecho en Mexico. Hurricane Alex hit in Mexico and caused flooding according to msnbc. (Guess we can only blame them for not being Made in the USA..)

(The roads were expected to reopen starting 7/16 from what the article said but fresh produce and emergency aid was to get priority over car parts etc..) (I hope our car parts are not in the blue container in the picture LOL!!!)
"22,000 trucks at border stopped by flooding

40 percent of U.S.-Mexico trade, from fruit to car parts, goes through Laredo"
"Munoz said Mexican truckers had been using an alternative route since Friday, reaching Nuevo Laredo via Reynosa across from McAllen, Texas, but that the highway suffered damages from flooding and partly collapsed Monday.
"This could affect factories because they rely on auto parts from the United States on a just-in-time basis and supplies are not getting through," he added.
Supermarkets in Nuevo Laredo were largely empty because food trucks could not reach the city. "A lot of things are scarce, most of all fresh produce," resident Alma Rosa Vela said.
A tropical depression dumped heavy rains on the Mexico-Texas border on July 8 days after Hurricane Alex flooded the region. Alex battered Monterrey as a Category 2 storm, killing 12 people, ripping apart highways and causing $700 million of damage."

THIS CLEARS UP WHY WE ARE NOT GETTING OUR HECHO EN MEXICO PARTS
