Detail Spray on Glass
I was doing a full detail and got a significant amount of oversprayed detail spray on the glass. I didn't see it til the next day and nothing has got it off since. I tried dish soap and water, and then rubbing alchohol. Any ideas?

You can use SHR and your PC. Might work.

when I have polish residue that's a pain, sometimes the only thing that takes it off is more polish.
Could be applicable here as Jeffm said.

Weird..why would detail spray stain glass??
My first impression was that it was probably something else, but the rest of you seem to have experienced the same thing.. |

Best thing to clean the glass is vinegar and water period.
It is what the glass engineers use. It will work.

Can't lie when something absolutely must come off laquer thinner gets crap off... Could also try acetone. Just keep it off the paint. Although the urethane on our cars is resistant maybe even impervious I would still avoid it.

What kind of spray did you use? I normally use Adams detail spray and the overspray on the windows comes right off with no problem....actually, I think it may even be recommended for glass.
