That hood scoop is a heat extractor? I'm trying to correlate the image with the technical description...

Bottom line, Will the ZLs of today ever be worth what the ZLs of yesterday are worth? I feel this is probably as close to a limited production camaro as i will ever get and want to purchase one. But i feel like it's not a actual limited production GM car. I know we can't predict the future but if GM desides to actually produce a ZL1 then these cars will be a flop.

These cars are not investment grade cars - they are nothing more than a third party modified car that will only depreciate faster than regular production cars will due to the insane price tag.

If you are looking for a future collectible - why not grab one of the Captive Test Fleet cars that were used for Indy 500 duty? In my eyes, I dont think there will be any more collectible production 2010 Camaro ever sold than the pre-production test fleet cars with a VIN lower than the Hendrick # 1 & #2 cars.

That would be another option but i like the high horsepower cars.

One problem with warranty:

- If clutch is upgraded for one better suited for a supercharger or CV shafts upgraded for same reason, AND BINGO......WARRANTY VOID (I checked w/SLP)

Love the package, wanted the warranty, but bussiness lost to Lingenfelter.

I was wondering about the clutch and cv's. Thats just stupid for GM to void your warranty for beefing up the clutch to hold the horsepower. I say fine GM fix it every time it breaks. I guess adding headers and cats will void your warranty also?

The clutch, like the friction surfaces of your brakes, is seldom covered by Warranty, regardless...

Any driveline parts you "upgrade" from OEM will NOT be covered by GM Warranty...only by the Supplier, if any exists Warranty at all...
