If it's free to play I may even try out an SOE game. I've only heard about SOE from players who left SWG to start play World of Warcraft after the Combat upgrade patch thing that flopped.

I have little confidence in SOE after the CU. But I did love Planetside. So I am willing to put it in the past and give them another shot.

Well, at least with the Planetside team, they've been asking lots of questions from the fans and have been listening to our ideas and thoughts on things. Gives me hope.

If you played Planetside 1, your name is on a list for beta invites, don't worry They've stated that original Planetside players will be among the first peeps invited into the beta.

If you want to keep up with the latest Planetside news, head to www.planetside-universe.com, the developers hang out on that site quite a bit and we get all the juicy details before most others do.

NDA's say you cant talk about whats going on in Beta. You can Confirm or Deny though.

From what I heard vets should be into beta within a week or two. I didn't really get an invite e-mail, so check your SOE accounts page and look at your game pass info. If Planetside 2 is set to active you are golden Then just go to http://www.planetside2.com/download to get the client (it won't let you download if you aren't active for the beta).
