To drive ZL1 or a renta car ?

Okay so I just can't seem to make up my mind. I would image this would be no brainer for most Camaro owners. Which would you choose?

I have a road trip planned from San Francisco (where I currently live) to Oregon via Coastal then cut across to Portland. I am just itching to take my new ZL1 on this road trip but the better (or maybe worse) half is telling me otherwise. I have only put on approx. 1500 miles on this thing. I was hoping to get XPEL installed on this thing before taking it on longer hwy trips as such.

So how many of you would say the hell with it and take the ZL1 or be bit more conservative and take a rent-a-car?

I just drove mine from Washington state to Wisconsin and will be driving back. About a 5000 mile trip.

I don't have a ZL1 but I did put 10k on my SS in a month with two road trips. I bought it to drive, not hide in a garage.

Drive it. You will regret it. I wish I had the time to take a drive long distance.

The Oregon coast is beautiful and 101 is a good road, with some really nice twisties, especially from Florence north to Newport. Enjoy your ZL1.
