$500 each? Maybe you're thinking run flats? Stock Pirellis are not run flats. I think you can get stockers for as low as $225 a tire...maybe less

If you went to both links you would see they are different tires. One says CHV one says BEN, that's where I'm confused.

Go with the G Force Sport Comp 2. Cheaper than the Pirelli's, longer tread life, higher speed rating, and better traction. You won't be disappointed

What about the new Nittos? I think they are called the Motivo. Are they any good? They have a 9.1 customer rating on Discount Tire.

I'm also looking for new tires and I've heard these are pretty good. They are just a little cheaper than the pirellis.

The factory tire is not a $500 each tire. Not sure why they are listed for that much at Discount Tire.

Here is a link to Tire Rack showing the Pirelli P Zero OE tires for a 2011 SS.
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....utoModClar=2SS
$866 for a set of 4

With that said, I think there are better all around tires out there.
Especially if you live in a colder climate. The Pirelli's suck in cold weather.

I just put a set of General G-Max on our car, and really happy with them.
They are much better in the cold.
