New owner

Just bought my first Camaro. 2015 SS convertible. What a great car. I'm getting a lot of great ideas from those on this site. I'm thinking a CAI for an upgrade. I'd like a little extra in the sound dept., but not over do it. Thanks to all who post here.

Go for it! Get a CAI brand, it will wake that engine up! Plus add about 10 horses. Do you have the NPP exhaust? Those two in tandem really sound fantastic. Can't wait for my warranty to be up so I can put headers on the Green Flash.

Happy motoring!!!

Congrats on your purchase. As my salesman said when I picked up my vert, "This car will change your life."

And so it has.

You may find my build thread of interest, especially exhaust mods looking for power and throttle response and not too many decibels for the vert. These are standard bolt-on mods, well proven by many C5 members before me. The great thing was, as a complete novice in this area, I was able to study and make accurate decisions on mods due to the open and honest feedback from members and vendors. Good luck in your pursuit of perfecting your gorgeous SS vert.

Welcome to the club. Muffler delete sounds perfect on the convertible. I was afraid it would be too loud, but it sounds really nice. There is a slight drone when AFM kicks in, but using the paddle shifters I eliminate that situation.
