Rear window cleaning

I searched.

How on earth are people cleaning the rear window, under/behind the center brake light?!

I almost resorted to trying a paint stick with a cloth wrapped around it, but thought there must be a better way.

Ideas?

No real good way. Whatever you can wedge between there. Spatulas have been used, paint stick would be fine.

I remember seeing a video by SSOOCH where he used a spatula with a towel wrapped around it. I swear by it every time I clean the back window, and the lower corners of the front.

I've used a plastic spatula (ordinary kitchen utensil) many times, wrapped in a blue shop towel that has been slightly moistened with window cleaner...

The Dollar tree is our friend .

They have actual window cleaning devices with a microfiber towel attached . It fits right in and works pretty good . For a buck you can change them out often .

I was going to link the SSOOCH video, but it has been removed from youtube. Makes me sad. It was funny as well as informational.

Great! At least I know it's not "just me".

I was starting to wonder if there was a magic release button I just couldn't find.

Off to the dollar store I go!

Thanks all.

Looks almost like the Invisible Glass one (which I ended up getting!) - just squarer.

Window cleaning trick.

I put the micro fiber towel on the back of my hand to clean the rear and front window and it makes it easy to get into the corners. Trust me it works rather than trying to twist around to get in the corners.

Agree Invisable glass cleaning tool

I agree with other poster that the invisible glass tool works the easiest and best.Earlier this summer Meijers store ran a special on the tool and a bottle of invisible glass for approx. $ 12.98 . Can't beat it . Tried the spatula and the cloth slips off sometimes. The tool comes with two covers & is very nicely made.

I use a wooden paint stirrer with my rag. Works perfect plus the wood will not scratch or harm anything
