Anyone order week of 12/7/2009? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Has anyone on the site ordered during that week? I placed my order on 12/9 and received my order number, NRSWB5. Yet I still haven't seen any further progress than "1100" in my order status.

Is this really because of the factory shutdown or is there something stinky in the water?

I asked them point blank, if they had allocation and they told me they had allocation, plenty to spare.

On this one I believe Scotty 100%, and your dealer...not so much. As you can see from my signature, I placed my order when allocation was in fact available, and I think my status was 2000 the same day. I would put your dealer on the hot seat and get the real story. Have you used the website to track your order num?

Yea I have been using Camaro Tracking to track. I am willing to give it another week since my understanding is Camaro Tracking gets updated Wednesday, if there is no progress on the site next Thursday then I am going somewhere else.

This will be frustrating if it doesn't work out, because I needed to have the car by end of February, since my lease is up on 2/24/2010.

Ouch. If the order hasn't moved well past 3000 this week I'd be nervous too! I would have expected notable progress on the order from Camaro Tracking before the two week break at the plant. If you have to re-order, I don't think you'll make your deadline. :(

Ok.......awesome news. I just got an email at 12:20 PM from Camarotracking. As you can see on my sig, my car has been accepted for production

Yes yes yes! I feel a whole lot better now.........whew!

I ordered November 30th and am still at 1100 :(
I'm hoping next week once the factory re-opens it'll get a move on! The dealer promised me late January/first week of February!!

Yea........I was wiggin out the last week, after I saw a lot of guys and girls on the boards having 2000 and 3000 status already and they ordered in early December. Turns out I was 2000 this whole time, and nothing was updated correctly.

Which really raises the question, what the hell is CamaroTracking showing me? When I have their email telling me better progress.

The plant has been closed since Dec. 23. They reopen next Monday Jan. 11, so don't expect progress until they get back to work.

My dealer had allocation when I ordered on Nov. 9. My car had a TPW of 12/21. My car still isn't built. I know better than to think anything will change on camarotracking until after they go back to work.
