I talked to Ryne yesterday about my motor. Looks like I have a 416 in my future. Which way are you leaning?

416 as well! I'm making a list and checking it three times before I proceed. I want to manage any potential risks with a proper plan.

I drive mine daily when the weather is nice.. It has a TH350 trans. in it right now for the best months of race season but still no hesitation to drive it all the time

We haven't dyno'd mine with the boost turned up & methanol but this is a package we do day in and day out that makes 800-830rwhp / 700-750rwtq, stock bottom end.

Oh and last week we went 10.1's with the car in full street trim minus the passenger seat.

Right there with you on that one. It's hard enough to get the motor done before the FI choice is made and keep the wife from killing me. I couldn't imagine the way the conversation would go if I broke something.

You can do that - Just install the Twin's and leave it at 7psi. You will be happy for a while. Then down the road do the cubic upgrade. One of the great things about the TT kit is you don't need to pile on the displacement to make HUGE power.

There must be at least 10 different members here that exceeded 850hp without going bigger on displacement.

Unlike a few others - we don't think 800 RWHP is the way to go on all stock components but it does prove it can be done.

I was highly considering 700rwhp for now. I want to take it to the Spectre Mountain Challenge next year and I think over 800rhp will be a little overkill on the twisties. Thoughts all?

i run with 9 psi all day... i run with modest throttle and punch it here and there...u can run with 620 rwhp all day with min problems as long as u dont mash it crazy. Its about the heavy foot...go light and it seems like a fast stock camaro....go past 4k with a heavy foot, and slide all over.
