I currently have a STS system on my '01 Silverado. Would not put one on my $40K 2SS/RS Camaro. Now if I had the base V6 model, Hmmm... I might only if the STS Kit cost was low.

If believe the STS Kit would make a good drag only car for an Auto Trans car with a high stall converter. I'm not doing a drag car, so the STS Kit doesn't work for me.

Originally paid $3,400 for my Silverado STS Kit (single turbo). It's fun to play with and is fine for my 9 year old daily driver Pickup. Not doing one of these on my Camaro though.

They would work the same way. Also if you read the thread, you would notice that the V8 is mentioned as well.

I've considered it. The rear mounts look the best on paper for me. I have never owned a turbo car, nor do I have any experience with STS though.

Just wondering as to why that is? With the amount of time, resources, and blood sweat and tears we have put into our new Camaro system I would like to know what we can do to get one on a customer's car that has no complaints on the system he has on another car. Feel free to be honest!

It is a large invesstment, no arguing that. Think about everything that comes into the twin kit.

We build all of our own parts, We actually carry insurance to cover you, and it can be installed in 1 DAY. I can think of cheaper, less complete kits that will cost you twice in labor as our kits.

I copied this from another thread:
There are a few kits out there that I have seen and can definately understand where decisions can be tough.

Here are a few points that I would like to point out.

STS is the ONLY Turbo company to recieve an award directly from General Motors for our Engineering,Design, Results....ect.

STS carries a product liabilty insurance policy. It is doubtful that many smaller shops building one to ten systems have even looked into it. It is a VERY expensive endeavor, yet shows our customers how serious we take YOUR investment. If something fails on our part-You are covered, period.

Small turbo companies come and go...believe me. At the end of the day, you want to know your money wasn't wasted on a 'system' that doesn't have an actual company with thousands of systems out there standing behind it.

With that being said-Let me know if you have questions about anything I have mentioned! My phone is less then a foot from me at the desk.
