Cold air

Also thinking about a cold air but don't really know if it works and I'm worried about emission controls any suggestions there also

I've always wanted an ARK DT-S catback...They sound the best on a V-6 to me.

Borla, corsca and flowmasters have always had the best sound for me. I would YouTube camaro exhaust videos and see which ones you like the best. Just know they will sound a little less deep on 6 cylinders

Probably the most understated way of putting it.
I'd describe as more of a chainsaw on jet fuel.
GM worked magic to tame 217 cubic inches of very angry bumble bee.

For the V6 we like the Corsa Cat Back option. It is a high quality kit and sounds nice too during both idle and acceleration. They are also one of the best exhausts we've tested in minimizing drone in the cab. Links down below.

I think stocks sounds the best, every v6 camaro I heard aftermarket or with the factory performance system that you can switch louder sounds well how can I put it nicely? LIKE CRAP to my ears. Recently in traffic I heard this terrible sound coming towards me, yep it was a v6 Camaro with sone kind of aftermarket exhaust. It truly sounds ridicules nasty crapo yikes, If my car sounded like that I'd put a paper bag over its headlights and drive it kabackwards!

I did hear some people say replacing the h pipe with a Magnaflow X resonator makes them sound good with using the stock system. I never heard one live so I don't know.

C'mon, don't hold back, Barb! Yeah, I had the 45th LFX and it was freakin' beautiful, ran great, wife loved it, got some looks, almost cured the common cold, but...there is simply no substitute in sound for those measly, two other cylinders. But agreed, I think stock is best on the V6.

That corsa sounds pretty good. Sounds a little like a very small v8 exotic car.
