Yeah I know I would be able to do it but I don't have a garage :(. It's a little chilly here in NJ to be doing it outside lol.

couple bits...do we have any fresh video of this kit that wasnt put out by flowmaster...second, if the mufflers are 100 a piece and the tips are 50 a piece, why does it cost about a 100 bucks more....third, why does this kit have square mufflers? If you buy them seperate they are more rounded...are they the same mufflers as the 44 when bought seperate or a version just for the kit?

I have not seen any other videos. The word "kit" jumps the price lol. I don't think they are the same as the 44's.

Just a thought: its a combination of parts that make the difference in performance. Just like changing the size of the camshaft and not altering the intake or exhaust pieces to get the best end result. Exhaust through the system is not in constant uniform flow, the air moving back and forth in the system with each engine combustion cycle. While a flowbench may determine linear flow, it does not mean that it nets the best performance. You can't race a flowbench. I always go with dyno numbers.

The mufflers used in the 817483 kit are NOT 40s, 40 Delta Flows, Super 44s or Super 40s. They are a modified version of the Classic 2-Chamber. The mufflers were modified/tuned specifically for the V6 Camaro, and the kit is the only way to get those actual mufflers. It took me about 10 minutes to determine that.

You will like the flowmaster exhaust I installed mine last week and I like them. Where in Central Florida are you located?

I'm in West Central, between St. Pete and Clearwater .....

How does the exhaust tone sound, are you happy with them and are they louder than stock ? It's kinda hard to tell by the Flowmaster video ....

Another good point about these is they are 10-15 pounds lighter than stock .... Which is a good thing, now I don't have to worry about my girlish figure ....
