Where did yall mount yours, and to what did you hook up your 12 volt to?
I have 2 6 inch LED strips, 2 9 inch LED strips and 4 individual LEDs. Im thinking maybe the 2 9 inch ones for my foot wells? Id like to light up my SC for car shows.. what do you think? any and all opinions are welcome.

thanks,

the people i know that has wired it. wired it straight to the battery and they mounted a switch inside the engine bay. me personally i have no switch i just hook mine up to the positive battery terminal at car shows and then unhook it, (mine is hooked up to my rim lights, night rider light and engine bay lights). im so scared it will drain my battery lol(which it wont)

here is where i got my LED's and they look GREAT!

No need to drill hole in firewall to access cabin. There is a hole with a rubber plug on the drivers side on the firewall about two or three inches above the positive battery cable ( mine's a 2SS) Just pull out the rubber plug and on the inside pull back the firewall liner and there you go. My lights run to a control box which is then run off power and ground from the battery in the trunk.

I may need a picture of the location of this grommet ^^^. As I just spent 2-3 hours (taking my sweet ass time) running 4 LED bars, two right on top of my radiator facing back, and one in each foot well. all running off the same controller (12V acc. plug) for now, may run it hard wire with an additional on/off switch at a later date. but I have 4 individual LED's that the wire is just not long enough, if I had that location I may have enough wire to do what Im thinking.

It's in a spot that is hard to photograph. Just reach your hand up under the brake fluid reservoir and feel around for the rubber plug on the firewall. Once you know it's there it is pretty easy to find.

We're you able to find the pass thru? If not I can try to get a pic in a few hrs when I get back home. I need to go under there anyway. LMK.

Here's the pics if needed. The first one you can see where the positive battery cable goes into the firewall. Thats where you wanna be looking. About two or three inches above the cable. The second shows a close up of the cable into the firewall and the rubber grommet that needs to be removed to access the cabin. GL with the wiring.
