CAI if you can keep your foot out of it. Anything that helps volumetric effieciency will mean less input to get to the speed you want. But, these is a point of diminishing returns where it swings the other way. Honestly I don't think GM left much on the table here for better mileage and I think they've wrung out almost as much as possible.

Bolt ons plus a good tune can actually improve mileage.

Considering the cost of bolt on parts, the best thing you can do is work on the way you drive. Bad driving habit will eat up more gas than you can ever save by bolting on parts. Some parts, such as headers and cai will help increase hp and fuel mileage at the same time, but if you keep your foot in it, good by fuel mileage. But, the occasional yahoo moment won't hurt.

It's too much fun to play to worry about gas mileage. We don't buy a Camaro SS to get good gas mileage. We buy one to have fun in it.

Made it 9 posts before someone threw out the "We don't drive them for gas mileage" blah, blah. My SS is my daily year round and I do watch gas mileage. It does considerably better than my old Durango. Enough so, that about a third of my car payment is covered by the gas savings. I use compression braking as often as possible giving myself enough room for the car to slow itself before getting into the brakes. That being said, anything that improves the efficiency of breathing should improve mpg if you can avoid the stop to stop drag racing on a regular basis.

Pop it into neutral and coast as much as you can.

Intake and exhaust mods should help mileage.
It didn't help mine because I've always got my foot in it.
If you're worried about fuel economy, don't even think about a cam or a supercharger.
