Da, that sounds about right for power. I am making about 634Tq (Mustang Dyno) on my Huron kit running 10-11 lbs. My HP number is down because I can't find a good way to get more air in(bigger filter) without cutting things up. I found some small filters that fit on the turbo better than the one that came with the kit but it is still starving for air up top. Glad you got it figured out, some of these gremlins will make you pull your hair out.
Mine with the Huron kit is running good. Now if I could just fix the problem between the seat and the steering wheel to get my 60' time down! |

Do some searches for my dyno threads. Good info in there.

Yea we had same problem early on with the stock motor and a 67mm,car was making around 600 rwhp but was showing 3-4 lbs of boost what we found was a ZR1 map sensor corrected the problem, then we got a 10-12 lb reading....But sounds like you may have it figured out.

I switched out to a small frame 4" spectre filter and it was a very noticeable difference over the tiny one that came with the kit. Mad to slightly bend the filter to get beat clearance but the top of it is fully vented. I could absolutely feel a quicker spool and just more power over all. |

Bayarea, that is the one I'm running too. It was a much easier fit than the filter that came with the Huron kit. I still can't get enough air up top (at least that seems like the problem anyway). It doesn't matter, Snowflake is sleeping on her perch in the garage for the winter for now. She comes out for a 20 mile blast every few weeks when the weather is nice. I'm gonna dyno with no filter and see what happens.

We'll just made my first couple pulls and about a 30 mile drive and the cars faster and pulls harder than anything I've ever had but bought a autozone junk heat sleave and burnt my a/c line...I know I know don't skimp on parts, lesson learned but other than that about to get ready for suspension upgrades
