Not to highjack the op original deal but that was some smooth driving. The sound is amazing! I like how you past the first stang and it was ok. The white one didn't even give you the go ahead pass wave like the others, lol. I was doing my laundry yesterday at a local laundry mat here in jax nc and notice a Stevenson worker came in to drop off some clothes. I ask him if he work at the new dealer and he said no, he works on the race team. I ask him a few question about the performance at Daytona with the new camaro's and he came back with they are still sorting out the cars and that he is looking forward to the season. I ask him if he felt that the BMW had a unfair advantage at the that race and he said that the power's to be spent a bunch of time scrutinizing and going over the camaro's and maybe they needed to spend more time on the BMW! I also ask about how soon before the front and rear spoilers be out? He came back and said the they cant even get them yet. All the stuff they have is all preproduction. He also said that some things are going to change. Sorry about the ranting on but this car for me is the best thing since slice bread!

Just had long tubes installed. You're not passing any DB test.

Glad i read this. I didn't really think the long tubes would make my car that much louder if I kept the stock NPP exhaust. I'll be purchasing the magnaflow xpipe as well now.

Obviously buy and install the LT's first, make your own judgement. |

After researching a little more if I'm correct the X Pipe will make it a little more efficient anyway so it's a win win. Headers X Pipe and CAI will probably be the extent of my mods. Well a tune after.

If I remember I picked up .1+ sec with the Xpipe. But it might have been better DA. The mid range felt slightly improved. But I have a hard time believing the pipe had much effect. For me it is all about the sound. I am thinking of adding a centrifugal SC. I wonder if that has any effect on sound?

Did those hex vents help keep the car planted any better so you would notice? Any effect on cooling? I am thinking this will be one of my winter mods. If I can get over sawing my hood. I will most likely measure this out 50 times and then get them crooked or something.
