Build opinions and tips V6 LLT

What's up forum? I just purchased a 2011 black RS with 26k miles on it, she's practically like-new. At this very moment, I'm under factory warranty and am in no rush to mod her BUT I do have a list of mods planned. They are as follow:

Performance:
BBK Long tube headers 4-1
QTP or DMH exhaust cutouts
Vararam intake
Apex oil catch-can
Chip and tune (trifecta or bullydog)
50-100 shot (for fun)

LMK what you guys think of this proposed setup. Any and all insight will be appreciated!

Welcome, ironhide. Just a couple of tips to help you get better response to your questions.

1. You do not have a "RS". You have a 1LT (or something) with the RS trim package. V6s and V8s can have this package.

2. Under your avatar, your "Drives" statement should have something like: 2011 Black 1LT/RS... (or whatever applies, 1LT, 2LT, 1LS, etc.).

*This lets everyone know you have a V6 with RS trim and will assist us in accurately answering any questions you may have about your specific vehicle.

3. And lastly...

We like to see pictures of our new member's cars. Congrats and Welcome to C5!

I financed her for 75mos with 0 down. All things considered, she came out to just over $25K

Lol luckily I scored a 4.4% interest rate. And yeah, it's a long term contract but we'll see how things go.

Congrats on the acquisition of your 1LT/RS.

Your mods are ok but THIS is where it's at. A bit pricey, but it won't leave much to be desired. Lots of folks here have done this and mine isn't too far off.

Best bang-for-the-buck performance mods for the LLT engine are cold air intake, Black Iceolator, ported throttle body, upgraded exhaust & suspension mods if you are into that sort of thing. Of course you will want to get an oil catch can to protect that engine. There is lots of info in the LLT section & your thread may end up getting moved there anyway. Lots of LLT folks hang out in that section & will be glad to give you input if you let us know what you have in mind for your build. Welcome aboard & good luck with your modding.
