93 octane in Arizona?

Do you guys have 93 or is 91 the highest octane sold? My car is tuned for 93 so I need to find some during C5F Thanks

I think everyone is asking this question. If worse comes to worse add a splash of race fuel in your tank at the fest if you are going to run it hard at the track.

That is what I've been doing here, so that works.

91 is the highest in AZ. You may be able to find 100 at a few stations. lol

The Love's Travel Stop at exit 162 in Chandler carries Sunoco 100 octane fuel. Just called and verified it with them. This station is across from Firebird Raceway on the other side of I-10.

Cool. They have C-16 for the octane on demand.
Thanks for that list.

Cool... a few gallons of 100 unleaded will do nicely to up the octane of the 91 octane cheap stuff. Sounds like there will be a few good smelling tailpipes at the fest.. LOL

Doesn't sound very acurate. There has to be a better way?

You can figure it almost on an average... 8 gallons of 100 and 8 gallons of 91 should net you around 95.5 or thereabouts...So I've been told...

I'm bringing some Amsoil octane boost.. Just to make sure me octane doesn't drop with the new motor...

Why? Ever notice that most gas stations only have 2 tanks but sell 3 grades of gasoline? Mixing different octanes of gas is a simple calculation. Mix 5 gallons of 86 octane with 5 gallons of 100 octane, unleaded of course, and you'll end up with 10 gallons of 93 octane.

I'd recommend some good auto-X runs to thoroughly mix the fuel though.
