ive been harrassed by the cops plenty of times that ive lost countso when they try to pull sum shit like that i ask for there seargent then there badge # and if they still want to search my vehicle i go rite to the station and file a formal complaint and get it on record enough of these on there record then they got law suitsprotect and serve not harrass the very people that pay there salaries

im in Cali. so i got it at a place called The California tint shop..i think its 3M brand not really sure but this shop quarntees it will never bubble or turn purple (lifetime warranty)..ive been going to these guys for over a decade, always top notch work

maybe Cali don't have them.....I have lived all over the US....and the vast majority of the US has some sort of annual safety inspection on motor vehicles.....even if its something as verifying emmitions equipment....and in many states, to get your verification certificate or sticker....they check your window tint to be in spec....and if its not....YOU FAIL.

I got news for ya......all an officer would need to do woulkd be to pull you over for speeding......and if HE thought you acted the LEAST bit off.....thats probable casue.....but hey.....its your car.....and evidently you have a pocket full of extra $25 bills to pay fix-it tickets with.....more power to ya.

Florida doesn't have any annual inspections but they do have tint laws and I can tell you that they love writing tint tickets in Florida!!!!!!

I'm in Cali, Have Limo tint on my windows. Looks completely black from the outside, cant see in. I've had it installed on all of my cars and have never had a problem....

California has no annual safety inspection but everything is illegal anyways. Front tint can't be darker than 70% which is what our cars come with from the factory. In other words you can't have window tint on the front two windows or windshield. People do it anyways but you can get ticketed for it.

Please don't take this the wrong way. I really think tinted windows look nice on cars but what's the use in having a really nice car if no one can see you driving it.

So you can choose when you want someone to see you. Mystery is one thing that I like, for someone to wonder who is in there? Also, it keeps the interior cooler, and if you have any valuables, ie, laptop, ipod, smartphone, if someone can't see it, they won't break your windows to get it. And when my windows were not tinted, people could make eye contact with me and were always wanting to race me. After I tinted mine, I don't have that issue anymore.
