Ill go one step further! Even being a stick car, I let my wife race it! I will admit the first time was a lil nerve racking especially after the big old burnout and 4 grand clutch dump on the line! When she came back to the staging lanes. She said I was so nervous I thought I was going to puke then got so excited after running it, I think im going to cry! We both enjoy our car!

I wish I could get mine to drive it. She never got comfortable with driving a stick. Maybe one day.

My husband drove it once on the day I bought it. Not since. Now that it's got a cam and supercharger, I'd be afraid to let him drive it. Fortunately, he has no desire to drive it whatsoever.

My wife can drive our vehicles anytime she wants. My spouse ranks a hell of a lot higher than any piece of metal. I love my cars but not as much as her.

I have let my husband drive it to get groceries a couple of times last summer but he just doesn't have a good track record. He wrecked our el Camino... Harley... got t-boned in my mazda pickup... hit 2 deer in a week last month... the guy just has buzzard luck.
He wants to drive it to work and show it off to the miscreants he works with. He forgets... I recall him "showing off for work buddies" by driving his 65 Galaxie through a stand of young alder trees. THAT is not going to happen.
I'll let him drive when I'm along. Give him my Camaro for the day? No.

Psst. If YOU'RE the one bumping YOUR head after she drives it, you're the one who needs to learn.

And yes, I let the man drive it since we co-signed.

She drove it once on some quiet roads the first week I had the car. She did rather well and actually impressed me. No way will she take it out without me though. Not that I don't trust her, I don't trust those around her. This is the first time I've ever had a reeeally nice car and I guess I'm over protective.

The wife's not gonna take the chance of something happening to it while she's driving it. She's only been in it with me twice. The car is still pretty new though.
