Roto-fab S/C CAI!

Here is the Roto-fab intake along with our fabricated stainless steel inlet elbow. Thanks for sending us a pic Jed! As we did with our N/A intake, we are going to offer a plastic version, but the stainless steel version is available now! Dyno numbers from S/C customers have been great. Our intake performs and tunes extremely well.

I currently have the Roto-fab for my NA engine. I am going to put a Supercharger on it. Is the only mod to do on the CAI, the tube?

Aside from the tube, just the 3/8" breather hose and the fitting it connects to. The routing for this hose changes with the Maggie; therefore, it has to be longer.

are there any heat issues with the stainless one ? Does this dyno the same as the plastic ? I am getting a maggie and roto fab but my installer mentioned roto fab doesn't currently fit the maggie but he can make it work. Any date on the plastic intake ?

In the standard version the stainless does lose maybe 1HP over the plastic.
The plastic for the superchargers will be available very soon. However the stainless is an awesome way to go...Dont forget you still have the air going through an intercooler, so the temps will be brought down no matter which in take tube you have.

And yes this tube is made just for the Maggie, so it will work.

John,
The standard R-F tube will fit with the Maggie with just a bit of modification. I have seen a member's car with R-F CAI and modded the tube that comes standard with it to fit the Maggie. It looks good.
Having said that, I have been using the the R-F CAI for weeks now and Maggie will be installed in a few days...I want a nicer look so I ordered the new tube from Mike at R-F ...tracking says I should have it tomorrow. Minus a pony or two with the shiny tube is not a big deal.

We are especially in need of pictures of the new style SLP SC with our intake! Thanks!
