Your preferred products for BLACK cars?

People with black paint are often a lot more anal about their paint than other color owners, and as such tend to try many products.

What are your preferred products for black paint?

If I'm going to go the wax route I love the outcome of this combo:
-Klasse All-In-One
-Poorboys Black Hole Glaze
-Collinite No. 476s (Have tried Souveran and Wolfgang Fuzion... 476 gives similar results and lasts about 40 times longer)

If I'm doing Zaino, which is my more preferred method lately I use this setup:
-Z-AIO
-Z-5 Pro (2 Coat)
-Z-2 Pro (1 Coats)
-With Z-6 in between coats
-Z-8 to finish

On the topic of zaino has anyone tried z-cs? I'm not sure I like the idea of it.

The zaino route tends to be a lot more work, but is very durable paint protection. I'll take durable over a slight change in looks any day on black.

So what products have worked for you?

Just did the Zaino treatment yesterday and I have to say it's some top notch products. This isn't my first black car and I've tried all kinds of over the counter products they can't compare to Zaino. Awesome product. I did two coats of Z-5 and one coat of Z-2.

You use that as a combo? I have always heard mixing zaino with carnauba was a no no as later applications of zaino wouldn't bond to the carnauba? If it works I may try it!

I've heard good things about blackfire but have never tried it.

No, I don't use that combo. It's my suggestion only because these are proven products that will last on you ride.

Zaino is awesome, but it is possible to put wax over Zaino. I don't see any reason for it however.

Poorboys Black Hole Glaze like you mentioned makes black cars look awesome. It's not a sealant or wax tho. Have you tried Poorboys Natty's Blue wax?

Zaino.

2~3 coats of Z5, followed by 1~2 coats of Z2 with Z6 between each coat.

Just when you think the paint looks like liquid ebony, top it off with a Z8 wipedown.

1. Megiars clay kit
2. Meguiars crystal cleaner
3. Meguiars show car glaze #7
4. Meguiars NXT tech wax 2.0
5. Meguiars ultimate quick detail

These are the steps I went through to wax and clean my car for this first time. I was very, very impressed. Very time consuming though. About 8-10 hrs. before everything was applied and that was just with one coat of wax.
