There is no difference, the camaro is a 50 state emissions vehicle and gets the same equipment regardless.

Because the system is antiquated, there are FE9 and YF5 ordering codes but they get the same equipment and MSO reads 50 state emissions.

I talked to a dealer here in the bay area and he said he would not order any car for me without CA emissions. If there is no difference between the 2 was that just cause he did not know any better?

He has to order the YF5 emissions being in california, its just that there is no difference between the emissions packages to the factory. There are pictures of exhaust and stock intakes all over this board, compare them to a California emissions car and there will be no difference. Have your parts guy pull up a diagram of the exhaust or intake system and you will see that none of the parts are marked FE9 or YF5 because they are the same equipment.
