If you're mechanically inclined, you can do all of the above, and then some for $1800-1900 and a weekend of wrenching in the garage.

I did:

Stainless Power 1 7/8" headers
Stainless power high flow cats
CAI cold air intake
Apex washer bottle relocation
Apex air scoop
BMR lowering springs
(All above came from apex in one order, phenomenal deal!)

I sent him in Mikes fast direction
And a solo Mach XL cat back exhaust (2.5")

All of that was ordered for roughly $2200.

Self install = free.

Dyno tune @ Fast $250.

Just something to think about!

I sent him in Mikes direction

Awesome!

@ OP- if you just don't want to deal with the install yourself, Mike @ Fast will damn sure do a great job, and it will be done 100% correct.

H-Town Camaro Club is always hanging out at Fast and modding cars there.

When changing the exhaust, do you just jack the car up and use jack stands, or can you use ramps....hell can you even get the car on a ramp without destroying anything upfront?

I did everything I mentioned using a single jack and jack stands pulled half way in my garage. A lift is certainly easier, but it's all doable on jack stands without issue.

Ramps would work too. You'd just need to get the front end as high as possible for the headers.

Did you have get back underneath to tighten everything back up after driving? I had to do this in my '00 Z28 and it sucked!

Some do, some don't. I did not have to do this.

I did have a clamp that was turned the wrong direction, so once everything settled it vibrated against the heat shielding. I put my car on the lift @ Fast one night and used their tools to fix it. The guys at Fast are awesome like that, as long as they don't have a job going they are pretty flexible!

When are you guys meeting up at Fast usually? I'd like to check it out and see other people's cars to get ideas for my next mods. J-Rod did all my stuff for me.

(I'm also on H-Town, but there's not a lot of activity on there.)

Check out the FB page for fast & the one for HTCC. Both usually mention the meets at fast. They have car night most Saturdays.
