I saw it in Jays first post, but I just want to remind everyone that if you don't have a helmet or if you don't get one in time they do have helmets available at the track that you can borrow for your runs. Just remember to bring your own head sock or you can buy one there at the track for $2.

If you are on the fence about going I would say do it! All of our 5th gen Camaros will easily pass tech inspection and the great thing is that you don't really need much to get started. If you don't have magnetic numbers ... no problem. Just use painters tape (I'll bring enough for everyone). You don't have a helmet ... no problem. Don't have a running car ... well that could be a problem.

I registered to use mine, but I was told they will assign us number and give us paper prints to tape to our cars. So we will have to wait an see how that goes. I certainly wouldn't take your number off.

Stuff happens, so keep 9/7 open right now cuz we'll do it again at Thompson if all goes well this time.

Plus, I'll use this list of members to make sure invites go out for the next. Still want a few more to commit though. We got 2 weeks, plenty of time to get your cars ready for fun.

What's the latest I can sign up for this and how many runs can we expect to get?

Registration limit was for 125 cars but since you're allowed to register that morning it's gonna be first come first served which is why I pre-registered online. Last I checked there were only 6 online registrations. I've got my 6, I'd like to make my 8 member commitment to get our own class.

On the runs, here's a cool twist...it's by how many runs some members made by 3pm. So if some are have made 7 or more, the group will finish that last round and then if you want, you can do what they call fun runs for $2 each run.
