In car:

This the remains of my not finished 4th gen stereo project. As you can see in the pic I did get the Headunit, Bluetooth, and Steering wheel controller working. This Head Unit even without out the Amp is a serious upgrade to the stock sound plus you get Bluetooth, Ipod control, and play DVDs if you want.

The Amp has never been out of the box. The ******** parts were fit to my car. The sub bolt stud hole had to be elongated and the back amp panel had to be trimmed 1/4 inch to fit flush without cutting the carpeting.

The wiring is a complete plug in except you have to splice the incoming steering wheel control from the PAC to a wire on the car harness. The green one if I remember correctly.

Also I am including my unfinished AMP plug to save cutting any stock wires. I think someone on this site was going to build some of these. Its a cool idea. I have desoldered my spare GM amp but never finished the plug.

I did not finish this project as I got the OK to get a 5th gen. I used my 2 channel Amp and Kicker sub in my 5th gen.

You can pick up a descent 2 channel amp and 10 inch sub on Ebay or Amazon for around $200. That is all I spent and my 5th gen sounds awesome.
