I was very surprised that we were suppose to overtake on the inside. When I went to school the slow car was to take the inside line and the fast car got to keep the line....THAT being said...by over taking on the inside...it did mean you could make a move and not wait for the "wave" and you knew they were not going to change lines...

Derrek say's he has viewed on of the last sessions where I had clear track. He seems to think I was flying. Next video's I will be working on will be HWY 89a footage and the 299 from Redding to Ureka.

The track day put on by Pfadt was the highlight of the weekend for me. I would like to say thank you to EVERYBODY from Camaro5. Be it the Mods, Instructors, Pfadt and all great people and friends. The trip was a blast from start to finish.

Time to pick-up where I left off with the pic's from the trip home. We parted company with El Diablo after we overnighted in Amador CA. Derrek and i headed north towards redding and El Diablo and Char headed west towards Frisco.

We made it to Redding CA in the early afternoon and formulated a plan to take HWY 299 over to HWY 101 and overnight in Ureka CA. When we stopped at a rest stop half way to Ureka to enjoy a craft brew I found in the gas station in Redding, low and behold it was brewed in Ureka. After reading the lable we found that Lost Coast Brewery and Grill was in Ureka. How cool is that. Dinner at the Lost Coast Brewery and Grill was in order.

After dinner in the Lost Coast Brewery and Cafe we overnighted in Ureka CA. We set out to work our way up HWY 101. Along the way we stopped at a rest stop and chatted up one of the Park Rangers, after we told told him we were at the Lost Coast Brewery the night before, he suggested we overnight in Newport OR and visit the Rogue Brewery and Grill. Right up our alley.
