When representing one particular group of cars it would go a long way toward making our group look good if we can get 100% participation from start to finish. It is understandable that once in a while it is necessary to leave early. When it becomes a habit is when it is noticeable. We like to have 100% with the other things we do. This should be no different. Just sayin.
Mike,

I understand completely. Working nights kinda sux for autocross, though. The drivers' meeting is right in the middle of my normal sleep time. I can only make Saturdays and then perhaps not the entire day because I'm off on Saturday nights. They're talking about teaching me some new skills here at work that are only used on the day shift Monday through Friday, so perhaps in the future I can help with setup and tear down.

I'm sorry that my current situation doesn't allow for more participation.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Tara

Jen,

Thanks for the offer of your spare helmet! I'll probably take you up on that if it fits. My next paycheck is devoted to buying two spare tires for the 1LE. With no spare, I don't want to be out of a car if I have a tire failure. I don't think anyone in town stocks the 285/35-20 Goodyear F1 Supercar tire... Dam things are $378 each loose.

Thanks again,

Tara

Check discount. I think they are lower than that, but you have to call or go in because they are not listed on the web site.

Thanks for that info! I had checked their website and didn't see tire listed, so I gave up on 'em! I'll go by tomorrow afternoon. If they're a better price, I'll order them straight away. If not, I'll go with my friend at Brooks Tire on Leopard.

Take care,

Tara

Im contemplating on taking my car saturday morning to get the boat anchors changed to a magnaflow mufflers. If I got there at 8 they would probably have it done by 9 or 930 leaving me time to get to auto cross. I am just worried that it will sound bad when AFM kicks in.

I think they had them for like 338. Hope my memory is not failing, but I know it seemed pretty reasonable.

Well y'all have fun without me on Saturday. My flight was cancelled last night. If things go well I'll leave BA tonight and get home tomorrow afternoon. Depending on the time I may be able to come help but won't run tomorrow. I'll have to get my fix on Sunday. Good luck to you all.

Wow that sucks. I'm sorry to hear your flight was canceled. Any chance of getting on another one?

Would love to come this weekend to get the kids out of the house while my wife recovers. Do you only pay to run? Or should I bring money just to get in. Mainly camaro people? Certain area camaro's will be. My dad wants to bring his new grand sport?

Just sign in at the gate. You pay only if you run.

We usually have a pretty strong camaro presence but it seems to be a nice mix of cars. Your dads grand sport would fit right in. You are also welcome to take a ride with any scca member they are identified by blue arm bands.
