Which power added should I do ?

Ok so this spring I’m doin a LSA 416 and I’m on the fence on which power adder to go with ?? It’s between doin an AGP twins , and magnason heartbeat or doin a LSA conversation but replacing the 1900 stocker with a Kong’s 2650 ?? The Camaro is going to be a nice weather or weekend show/ strip type deal
Any input is greatly appreciated
Thanks guys

Do you want instant TQ or are you ok with it being applied with a bit of delay? Would you prefer belt maintenance or going over the system for boost/oil leaks? Is adjustability with a boost controller important?

I don’t mind a little lag !! I love turbos . What I’ve read it’s lot easer to make more boost and turn it up down the road ! I believe?!?! *♂️ And everybody has superchargers I like to be different

Sounds like you already know what you want!

AGP makes a very nice kit, you won't be disappointed.

Yes, with an electronic boost controller, you can go from mild to wild with a touch of a button... MPH if you prefer.

Max effort Max power Turbo. Heartbeat would be cheaper than an LSA and 2650 but you'll have the option to get more power from the 2650. I love my Whipple, I don't like turbos for a street car but that is simply preference they are certainly cool. I think supercharger is the more simple approach. I would do LSA with 2650, my opinion.

What are your main power goals? Also, is the motor already being built? What compression ratio will it have?

By spring you might see a Magnuson TVS 2650 if the powers at be will get the memo.

We just did an AGP kit on a stock long block LS3 with our cam package, on 11 psi made 740 ish without leaning on it.

I see no reason why this kit on a 416 won't do 850 plus with the right turbo selection.

JMO, For drag racing, if auto trans, I say go turbo.

If manual trans go supercharger because 60 ft is everything.

Ted.

D1X on 416 has been simple trouble free on M6 416 Car here. Mainly Street Car and occasional 1/2 Mile. More in it to be found at only 12lbs Boost but fun the way it is.
