Twin disc clutch: Monster, ACT or McLoed

Just looking for some opinions regarding these twin disc kits: Monster, ACT and McLoed

2010 SS, Maggie 2.3 (10lbs), full exhaust, twin pumps - Street car, street tires...580rwhp

Have a RAM Force 10.5 in it now, clutch lasted 70K miles which is fantastic, but the pedal pressure got harder and harder over time. Now it reminds me of a Spec Stage 3+ (for those that are familiar with that)

Looking for a kit with pedal feel near stock and smooth engagement

Thanks in advance

I asked what clutch is recommended an a lot are running the mcloed. Jannety uses monster. If you want a really stock feeling clutch think about a triple disc. Twins can be a little chattery and not as light as triples from my research. I am still on stock so i don't have any first hand experience yet. Keeping an eye out for a barely used mcloed or monster to put in the garage for when i need it... they are so damn expensive new with flywheel. There's a spec twin disc in the classified section for something like $700 shipped, by they chatter

Thanks for the feedback. I actually have a twin disk Monster in my Vette, which is mostly a dedicated track car. It's a N/A stroker making about 500rwhp/460rwtq. Clutch pedal is great in it, almost like stock. The Vette is almost 1000lbs lighter than the Camaro so I figured I'd just get some opinions on what the supercharged Camaro guys are running.

I love my McLeod RXT Twin disk. I have 900+ at the rear wheels. Clutch holds up fine and feels like stock. I get a slight chatter from time to time and I can tell that repetitive track use definitely takes its toll but they rebuild for around $500 plus shipping if you send them back to McLeod. I've had this last one in for almost two years and am just now about to send it off to be rebuilt in a couple weeks.

Thanks for chiming in, much appreciated. Are you using the organic discs? Has the pedal pressure changed at all? The RAM Force 10.5 felt great for about a year, then it slowly got stiffer over time.

I’m on the same bot as u OP, but I’m only looking at the monster LT1-SC or the LT1-S triple. I’m leading more towards the SC version bc of price. Monster did tell me to go with the S triple bc of my street duties, but I only drive the car once a week, if that. Also my tolerance when it comes to drivability is pretty high (big cam in my C6Z/ and camaro).

Read good reviews on the McLeod also... I say get the SC, and if you don’t like it, I’ll buy it from you. Lol.

I'm running the Monster LT-1S dual disc in my Vette and I love it...especially compared to that Spec stage 3+ that I used to have in it.

Been running the LT1-S Triple for over two years now. Was going to go with the SC but Builder steered me towards the S for ease on the Street. It holds and love the “stock feel”.It was a good choice imho.

The pedal actually felt easier with the McLeod to me. As far as the discs, I was using what comes with the kit that states ceramic plates that are metalic lined but this time around I am upgrading to the RXT 1200 which seems to use similar style plates. I'm hoping to get a little better life from it. Sorry for the late response as I have not been on here in a few days.

Nice. I just bought the RXT. Didn’t want to spend 460$ more for the triple, since my build budget is waaaaaaaay over.

Cool, I'm still milking what I can out of this RAM clutch so please let me know how the install and pedal feel is once you get it in.
