if i could do it all over again i would go the route my friend james went, srt8 300c and basically make it run 11.20's at 122mph while enjoying the great sound system/dvd player and comfortable seating for four. full interior and at race weight he was sitting at 4500lbs but this was him having a sound system in the car, i would pass on the sound system but everything else about the car i was instantly impressed with

Gotta love them 392's. Just went to the track last night. Still factory stock on the stock tires and here are the results. DA's went from +800 to +400 during the runs. Temps in the 60's and humidity in the 80-90%......Still bone stock from the factory. Even stock air pressure in the F1's. Cant wait for even better air in November.

There is nothing wrong with the SS but I just love the power the 392's make.

i have a 14 ss and my cousin has the new srt8 core. if your looking for performance get the srt8. he paid for 45000 for the core. i paid 41000 for recaro seats 2ss sunroof rs package, and all the other stuff. My car is more complete however his is faster . especially if your getting an auto like me and my cousin did cause we live in the annoying sotp and go traffic of NYC. :/ the SRT8 auto is ALOT faster than the L99. I drive both on a daily basis.

2SS starts right at 38k now, can get well over 45k fully loaded. the Challenger SRT8 core starts at 38995, Superbee starts just over 40k, so yes, depending on the models and options, you CAN now get SRTs for less than certain Camaros SSs.

12:40 @ 114+ great pass, with that mph I can see a 12:20s for sure. How does the Charger like to be launched?

Just like the Challenger. I do notice that the Charger does hook better. Maybe the 4 inch longer wheelbase helps or possibly because my 392 Challenger came with the RSA tires.....OUCH!!! At least the F1's that came with the Bee work better.

Yea, I didn't know you was talking about your 2010. but I thought the 2010 has the ambient lighting but its only on 2lt and 2ss . But yea, I want a 2010-11 because Retro speedometers. But prolly will get a 2012 2ss/rs because I can get all of that and just add the Retro 10-11 speedometers numbers. The 12 dash and steering I like too .
