I've hit my 30's with a good driving record and the insurance company doesn't really seem to care what I drive anymore. It's all relatively cheap, comparing what I used to pay in my early 20's. I just got the insurance cards in the mail for my LS. $20/year more than I was paying for my commuter VW Jetta.

I'm 23 now but when i got my camaro at 20 it was cheaper then my 04 dodge ram hemi. Granted it's a 6 but wasn't expecting that. It was actually cheaper then my 4 cylinder cobalt too. Obviously because of the safety rating.

Can't wait till my insurance drops with age I'm currently paying $350 a month for my wife's 11 scion tc my camaro and my 04 xterra

Which still isn't bad considering I used to pay 350 a month just for the cobalt!

Idk what my monthly would be since I pay annually. But I paid in full for my car, have a clean record, 19, and my annual was $1,356 or something in that area, I know it was 1,300.

The insurance on my 07 V6 mustang is 5 bucks cheaper than my 04 Monte Carlo but that is liability on both, I plan on getting full once I get the Mustang on the road then it jumps up 18 bucks more a month.

Probably has more to do with the fact that most young people can't afford the V8 model Camaro anymore and therefore don't have as many high risk drivers driving up claims wrecking all the time. I remember when the Vette was cheaper to insure than the LS1 Camaros were. Mustangs are high no matter what when i looked!

Do I see your car over at the Mexican restaurant in Tupelo on occasion? There is a silver SS I notice a lot over there.

Ok, you guys made me go dig my bill out. All these figures are for a 6 month billing cycle. I'm paying $255.70 on my 2010 Camaro SS, $247.90 on my 2008 HHR SS, $147.30 on my 2001 Silverado Z71, $78.80 on my 1987 IROC-Z, and $50.00 on my 1969 Camaro SS. That's full coverage on everything and stated values of $10,000 and $30,000 on my 1987 and 1969 Camaros. I'm paying almost as much for my 08 HHR SS as my 10 Camaro SS. But I guess I shouldn't complain. I'm only paying $100 a year for full coverage on a $30,000 69 Camaro with a 500 horsepower engine!

How many of them are listed as "pleasure" vehicles rather than daily use vehicles?

Going from my 2001 Formula with a $750 deductible to my 2013 SS with a $500 deductible, my insurance went from $450/6 mo to $508/6 mo.

None of thes are "daily use" vehicles. I drive a company van daily, but as far as I know my insurance company doesn't know this. The 2 older Camaros have "stated value" type policies on them and I think they may have a 6k a year limit on them, but my insurance company has never verified the odometer readings on them, so I don't know how they would know if I ever went over. I've never even come close to that 6k limit any way.
