TV experts please

too good to be true?

I know basic TV stats, and this seems to be a freaking steal based on the stats. I checked them against the manufacturer website and they match.

only thing i would be worried about is the contrast ratio 2500:1, my computer monitor is 20000:1

I wouldn't get it...For me personally (and Ive wasted days researching) the bare minimum Contrast ratio Id get is 3-5K:1. My current T.V. 30,000:1. Bare minimum response time 5ms, my current 5ms...theres no mention of brightness.

At 32" a higher quality 720p/1080i would be what I'd look for around 500.

If your not a gamer (XBOX-PS3) or dont have HD cable, or a Bluray player. you'll never get to enjoy full HD.

I have 360 and HD box from verizon. Personally I don't need 1080P over 720P its just I saw that TV for the price and was like "whoa" so I thought it might be a good deal. I haven't heard much about the brand, and what I have heard is mixed reviews. Sounds like if its DOA they don't help at all.

I think I'll go back to best buy or PC Richards and look for open box or hagel with em. $500 is pretty much my limit.
