Borrowing from 2013 seat to fix my 2011?

Long story short, the dealership replaced the upper leather cover on my passenger seat a year ago. It wasn't bad except for one bottom corner in the back. After making multiple return trips to get that fixed they ended up replacing the cover again along with the foam but it turned out horrible. This week they sent it out with a 3rd cover to an upholstery shop but it still isn't right (pic attached). Luckily no one is arguing that it looks bad, they are just trying to figure out how best to fix it.

Now they want to take the upper part (seat back) of a leather seat from a 2013 2SS and use that to swap out with the upper part of the seat in my 2011 2LT. Will this even work?
