Prime / Ignition wire for Squash system

The only thing I'm not crazy about with squash system is the constant running of the pump when the ignition is on. I read somewhere that there is a green/white wire from the FPCM that will make the pump respond like the factory one. Only triggering the pump when the ECM requests fuel.
Has anyone tested this theory?
I'm going to test this wire myself, but I figured I would see if anyone else has information on this as well.
