Thank Goodness it's a movie car! Although I do like the venting....
I am hoping that there will not be to many changes to our 5th generations when production time rolls around. Why mess with perfection? A tweak here, perhaps a functioning vent or two? Just my opinion for what it's worth

Ah ha. Far from perfection. 6th gen will bring around pretty big changes.

Looks like they are going to do the same thing to the camaro they did with the Avalanche.

The new camaro had dramatic styling, and it was a HIT. Then they listen to all the average people give design input, they adjust their design accordingly, and create a coupe that looks like every other car on the market, and then wonder why no one buys it.

On the avalanche they had a crazy design that while a lot of people thought it was ugly, it sold well. They change the design to make it look like what everyone wanted and sales plumetted to 1/3rd what it was before, never recovering until they pulled it off the market.

GM needs a new VP of Marketing.

A) Not a production car, so nobody will be able to buy it anyways.
B) Most of Avalanche's decreased sales were because of 1500 Crew Cabs. GM was always reluctant to build light duty crew cabs until Avalanche.

If that's it, then I'm out. Can't stand the new LED taillamps on the 2014. Really don't care for that new Bumble Bee front fascia. That design feels like it's neutered from the aggressive muscle that the 2010-2013 evoked.

Most car makers do this, they go radical and then slowly make it less viually unique, I think right now KIA is the only maker that keeps pushing the creativity envelope. Everyone else starts trying to play it safe.

Maybe I should have clarified that when the model generation goes on the weaker the look gets. GM always starts making the look less aggressive. Most do. 2010 to 2013 camaro, far more aggresive than the 2014. Just an example.

I think most people would say the 2014 front end looks more aggressive than the 2010-2013...

GM needs a new VP of Marketing. __________________ 2010 Camaro SS modified extensively. I stretched the body to make it a 4 door, but I swapped in the 3.6L DI V6 for fuel economy. Then I picked up a corvette body around the V8. I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)
