I think dealer sold my CAR!!!!!!!!!!!

So I think I figured out why the dealer took three weeks to deliver my car from riverside to LA, they sold it. SO after calling everyday they got tired of me and the sales manager got to the "bottom of it", he said he thinks they delivered to wrong dealer and were going to figure out to which, they never got back to me on that! Instead they said they would get me car from another dealer by tomorrow. I think they sold it becuase i googled the vin number and it shows a link to there website advertising the receipt of a car with my vin!!!! so I dont have a 100% proof they received my car but they still haven't told which dealer got my car, I cant believe a "mistake like this happened". I'm pissed they made me wait three weeks extra to "realize this" so I'm going to tell them straight out tomorrow I know they sold my car and I'm not paying the $1000 OVER msrp! if not they can give me my $1K deposit and will go to another dealer and buy of the lot for $500 over MSRP, what do you think!

why are you paying over msrp to begin with? I bought my car at the end of june when there was a huge waiting list for $1000 below msrp.

ehhhh, no offense mid west boy... but things round here aint the same as they are over yonder.

it's really hard to find a decent dealer in the LA area, how come cali.

they're out there but it takes some work cause most places are happy to charge.

elbruin7, Do yourself a favor and see if the dealer can make it right otherwise....last time I checked you can always take your cash elsewhere. oh yea Camaros may be hot but paying over MSRP is kinda lame... do some leg work.... you will find what your looking for @ MSRP or better.

Same thing happened to me... twice !! (Florida).
See the car in the showroom, make appointment to come back the same afternoon to close the deal etc.... and bang ! car sold ! could not believe it !

conclusion: see the car, buy it. Period.

If there was no offense intended, why did you say it like that?

Anyway I wouldn't be paying over MSRP either, and I DEFINITELY wouldn't at a dealership that already cheated you once!

There's a guy posting on here from motor city saying he will ship any where and is below msrp.
Also takes all discounts and gm supplier pricing. It's crazy to ever pay over msrp for a car.
Did you ever think the reason la is still charging over msrp is because people like you are still willing to pay to much? Times must still be good in la.

I got my car for sticker minus the 500 rebate at Rancho Motors in Victorville. Ask for fleet dept and ask for Joe Sayles. They had a better selection of Camaros than almost anybody at the time and I checker all over SO CAL as well as Phoenix and Vegas and N CAL and that was a month ago.
Also a co worker of mine said he looked at a 2SS RS in Covina or Pasadena and it was White with Silver Stripes (!!!!!) in the 36,000 range and they were asking sticker.

Guy who ordered my car didnt come to pick it up "soon enough" according to the dealer. So they sold it to me 500 bucks under msrp.
