Jason's ZL1 Road Course Build

Jason brought us his beautiful Black ZL1 from Mass. to step it up to the next level to make sure his road racing experience is enhanced.

We are installing a custom camshaft, changing pulley configurations, installing our ported snout with 102mm TB, Sparco EVO Seats w/ 5 Point Harnesses and a custom 4 point roll cage.

We will be posting pictures of the build as we go along but if you want some real-time updates check us out on Instagram @torqspeedlab

JRE built that car, Jason told me he was moving to Florida, it has my road race cam in it and a Rotofab CAI 90mm TB ported snout, and 22% crank pulley ID-850s LT headers with JRE supercats.

That guy can Drive the crap out of a car for sure, wore out 2 sets of brakes and tires.

Keep us updated.

Ted.

Cage looks great! I like how you guys tucked it behind the B-pillar. do you have any better pics of where you cut into the interior panel on the bottom?

Is the roll bar a bolt in or weld in, and have you ever though about making more of those? I'd be very interested, but would not want to bring my car from Indiana. Nice work!

Once we do another one we will make a template and think about selling them but they are designed to be weld-in but its nothing that will happen in the near future.

The goal was to give as much room in the back seat as possible and make it as hidden as possible without limiting functionality.

Here are the results with the following parts added:
102MM Throttle Body (already has a stock ported TB)
102MM Snout (already had a mild ported stock TB)
Torq Stage 4 'Rough Idle' Camshaft (had another aftermarket cam installed)
1.5PSI of boost added (different pulley combo)
Tune

Picked up peak gains of 50/61 and mid range gains of 70/70.
