Which Polisher and other questions?

Which is the most preferred polisher by you pro detailers?

I have access to either Griots Garage Gen3 Random Orbital Polisher 6" or
the Porter Cable 7424XP Dual Action, difference in price is $5.

Are the pads the same for them? I have not done any paint correction this year, last year was all done by hand. Weather is holding nicely and would like to complete before winter as I do winter drive the car.

Also, I've been using Meguires Ultimate Quick Wax, guess this will need to come off with a wash before claying?

Will be using Zaino products.

Yes, both polishers will give you the same results but if i'm not mistaken the griots comes with a backing plate already while the porter cable doesn't and has to be bought separately. A backing plate is about 20 dollars so not a lot but just something I thought you should be aware of unless you're talking about kits with everything already included. Also, if I remember right, the griots comes with a lifetime warranty while the pc doesn't.
