I was just getting ready to order the ZL1 coupe....now I might just wait 6 months.

GM has always left us wanting when relating to the "biggest engine" package in a vert....at least with Corvette they have.

Very, very surprised GM let this cat out of the bag before the mad rush for the coupes was over this Spring.

I always wondered if the ZL1 exhaust would fit on a convertible. I think this is a YES!

Will the ZL1 be offered in a convertible?
The 2012 Camaro ZL1 will only be offered in a coupe.

Look like the ZL1 coupe spoiler didn't make it to the vert. Looks like the same RS/SS spoiler, maybe because of the antenna??

I think this was a smart move by GM to announce the ZL1 convertable.
This way if any one was on the list for ordering on October 29th they
could be placed on a new list for the vert instead. Personally I believe
this will be out of the price range of most current camaro readers on this
forums. Sounds like there going after some of the European market piece
of the pie. Esp since they started to compare this car to some of the
European rag tops in there press release memmo.

I'm hoping that new front grill will be on the hard top 2012 models.

GM is really rocking with new products

[QUOTE=ShnOmac;3864156]Now about that Z/28....

Amen! we need something to fall in between the price range of the
SS and the ZL1. I'm betting that if they make a Z28 they will also
have a ragtop as well.
