Flipping the headers

I did a quick search that came up with nothing on this so here goes

Has anyone tried flipping the stock headers on the ls3 to do a custom turbo kit? If so, a build thread would be nice.

If not, has anyone ever tried flipping the stock headers to see if it'll even fit?

Thanks

I see what your saying, using the stock headers as a turbo manifold. If i had my car here i could give you more insight

Yep, I've already checked them out.

What I really want to do next is one of those ozmo carbon intake manifolds.

^Chase, that's AWESOME.

Unfortunately, it does look like there are some clearance issues with that particular turbo since they had to relocate the fusebox...and apparently that in itself is quite the project!
