Well, we originally ordered a IBM 2SS 6-speed manual back in early June. A few weeks later, my wife saw a ABM and fell in love with it. That is the closest to the color of her '86 model she had. So back to the dealership we went. My salesman had a couple more allocations on order. He agreed to go in and change one of the allocations to meet her specs. So now we have a ABM 2SS 6-speed coming.

Yesterday he calls me and tells me that I screwed up. He said the IBM just hit the ground and is gorgeous. So we take off to the dealership and take a look. It is gorgeous my my wife still wants the ABM. While looking it over, he comes up and tosses me the keys and says "BE CAREFUL!!!!" With that deer in the headlights look, I said REALLY??? He just smiled and walked away. All I can say is AWESOME!!!!! That car drove fabulous... i can't wait for ours to come in.

Hold out for the Aqua blue you will NOT regret it! it's awesome and everyone tells me they LOVE my car color. The Dark blue is NOTHING compared to the aqua in person with the sun hitting it. It chages color like a chameleon!

This car looks good in every color, but I love my IBM. ABM might be easier to keep clean though...

The IBM is a beautiful car but when she saw a ABM at another dealership we drove by, we had to stop and look. She looked at me with those OH CRAP eyes and said, I gotta have this color... As for my salesman, he is awesome!!! I have probably bought 6-8 vehicles from him and am treated great. I don't know who is more anxious, me or her...

Glad you had the willpower to stay with your order and get what you really want. Could be a little puppy dog sales strategy there. Nice dealer you have there reguardless.

I totally agree, I have seen BOTH in person and in the sun, you will NOT regret waiting, I HAD a ABM that I could have driven off with a month ago that was EXACTLY what I wanted, down to the options I wanted, if only GM didn't make the IOM, I would be driving the ABM as we speak.
