4 gauges , is it worth buying?

Is this useful to have? i am thinking about getting it for my 1LT as a add on. anyone have a good link for it? and how easy is it to install it? are the instructions easy? will i be able to install it myself?

any opinions on the 4 gauges will be appreciated.

I have seen the install and yes you can do yourself. It isn't that bad at all. Just have to remove the center console. Don't have them so can't speak to if useful or not.

in my opinion i think the 4 gauges are nice to have...it just depends on whether or not you want to get other mods first like exhaust, headers and so forth but i think you would like gauges hopes this helps

i bought mine and installed through dealer it was kind of pricey. at first i thought they were really cool and kept looking at them. now it just feels normal but does look all some. this mods is for looks. i would buy other mods first like exhaust or CAI.

They don't tell you when you need an oil change. your DIC will do that. The gauges show oil pressure, battery voltage, tach & engine temp

the only i need info on is the engine. which is already proven in the dash. the 4 gauge is honestly for looks. its more of a "cool" thing to have. to be able to read your trans temp, volt , oil PSI, cant remember the 4th one is lol

It takes 39 seconds to removed the old panel, and about 24 seconds to attach the cable and snap the new one in.

It isn't. It's for looks mostly like MikeSS said. The reason it's an option is becuase it was almost identical and in the same spot on the 60's first gens. This car is modeled after them.

I like having them, but if they hadn't come on my car I doubt that I would spend the money to get them.

I actually bought mine lol. To me, the car needed it. It's eye candy to anyone who just sits in your car as well. They are like "wow, cool!".

I use it to check my oil temp, oil pressure, and trans temp, mostly. The Voltage isn't a big deal. However, I like how the oil pressure gauge is constantly moving when you are driving. Especially when you hit the gas hard =D Looks cool lol.

Your car is not complete without them, its a "must have" item. This is one of the few features that directly link it to the 69 Camaro. I installed mine in about 20 min and they are great. I really like being able to see my oil pressure. Knowing your temp between runs is also very important.

i would only get it if it will help you in some ways besides looking cooler. i have a small budget so i dont no if this will be worth it. if it would tell you some warnings on when to change tires/ oil/ or whatever else then i would get it. but i guess it doesnt warn you on anything.
